Joyful Torches

Held in every June in lunar month, the event of Joyful Torches is the traditional festival of Yi nationality and it will definitely make you feel reluctant to leave. During the event, people will hold a memorial ceremony for the spirits, pray for harvests and exorcize the evil spirits. They light up every corner by the torches. Fire is their expectation for happy life and blessings for prosperity of the nation.
